Accent Lighting began in downtown Wichita in 1979 with the Graf family. Brothers Pat and Paul Graf helped grow the business through successive locations, building relationships with homeowners and the professionals who create their spaces.
Today, that history informs how we help you choose: with time to listen, products you can see in person and guidance that connects the details of your home.

The Brittany Center store brought together our showroom, offices and warehouse. It was a place to discover fixtures, compare finishes and talk through the plans for a new home or a room refresh.
As the business grew, so did our vision for what a showroom could offer. The move created an opportunity to display more lighting and bring more home accents into the experience.
Breaking ground in 2019.
In August 2019, family, colleagues and project partners gathered at the future Waterfront location. The Greater Wichita Partnership documented the groundbreaking and the investment in our region.
A new home
at the Waterfront.
The new building was planned at 25,000 square feet, with approximately 20,200 square feet for Accent Lighting. Crossland Construction and architect Dan Winter were part of the project. It became the fourth location in the business’s history.
Our current store gives you room to explore lighting, mirrors, furniture and home accents, along with hardware and window treatments available through our showroom team. Bring your measurements, finish samples and wish list, and we’ll help connect the possibilities.

Our Visual Comfort Premier Studio is another chapter in the showroom’s story. Its grand opening brought designers, builders, architects, remodelers and industry professionals together to explore the dedicated studio inside Accent Lighting.
